About Us

THE LOCAL LONDON GREEN JOBS AND SKILLS PARTNERSHIP WAS ESTABLISHED IN FEBRUARY 2022, IN RESPONSE TO FINDINGS FROM THE PAN-LONDON GREEN JOBS AND SKILLS RESEARCH. THIS REVEALED THE EMERGENCE OF GREEN AND DIGITAL SKILLS, THE SKILLS SHORTAGES BEING FACED BY THE CONSTRUCTION AND DIGITAL SECTOR AND THE URGENT NEED TO UPSKILL AND RESKILL PEOPLE TO MEET THIS DEMAND.

Our collaboration with local authorities, further and higher education providers, employers and key stakeholders aims to influence and shape green and digital employment and skills provision, both now and in the future.

We want to drive job creation and sustain these jobs, while maximising the potential of the shift to a greener and more digitally able economy. We want to secure the development and delivery of high-quality green and digital skills training.

This will help to tackle deep inequalities in the sector.
